PlanningSphere advised the new owners of 37 and 38 Milsom Street on two separate proposals to convert a former bank into two new home-ware retailing units for Hay and Brissi respectively.
The proposal for No. 37 involved a change of use and a new shop front and signage. Planning permission and Listed Building Consent were secured in November 2014 and the new ‘Hay’ store opened in December 2014.
The proposal for No. 38 relates to the change of use and full refurbishment of all five floors of the Grade II* listed building, along with alterations to the shop front and associated signage. Planning permission and Listed Building Consent were secured in September 2014, and the new ‘Brissi’ store opened in November 2014.
