Project Description
PlanningSphere are acting for Stobart Biomass on three waste-wood process sites. These will create pellet feedstock from waste wood which would otherwise be sent to landfill. The wood pellets will then be transported to recently constructed biomass power stations in close proximity to each plant.
Planning permission was secured for a waste wood facility in Rotherham in April 2017, and applications for plants in Middlesbrough and Tilbury are currently under consideration.
