Project Description

Bohunt Park has been promoted as an urban extension to Liphook in Hampshire since 2005. Permissions for various community facilities including a medical centre, community allotments and sports pitches were secured in 2010.

Following a workshop run by The Prince’s Foundation for Built Communities in 2011, a vision for a comprehensive mixed-use development has evolved in response to the designation of the South Downs National Park, which represents a significant planning constraint but also an opportunity to develop an exemplary scheme.

The master plan is landscape-led. The proposed housing element will cross-subsidise and deliver the non-residential and community facilities as part of a vision that seeks to use the site’s close proximity to Liphook railway station as a gateway to the National Park.

PlanningSphere are continuing to promote the site through the development plan making process.
