Mixed-use regeneration

Acting for B&NES Council’s regeneration team, PlanningSphere submitted an outline application in May 2023 on part of the second phase of Bath Western Riverside.

PlanningSphere secured planning permission for 140 purpose-built student bedrooms and a new cricket school on the Bath Cricket Club site for Gilltown.

PlanningSphere secured planning permission for a mixed-use scheme of 44 residential units and the conversion of curtilage listed buildings on the site of the former Holt Tannery in Wiltshire.

PlanningSphere secured planning permission and listed building consent for a mixed-use scheme of retail and residential conversion, which also includes an innovative new contemporary mansard ‘cut-away’ rooftop apartment.

PlanningSphere secured planning permission in 2017 for 96 units of student accommodation and 14 key-worker apartments. The scheme was completed in 2019 and is now fully occupied.

PlanningSphere coordinated and submitted a planning application for 30 apartments and works to the town park. The residential scheme was completed in 2019 and associate works in 2020.

PlanningSphere were appointed by the site owners, Innox Mills Ltd, in 2016 to progress a mixed-use regeneration proposal for the former Bowyers factory site in Trowbridge.

PlanningSphere have secured planning permission on behlaf of specialist coastal developers, Acorn Blue, for a scheme of 14 contemporary homes in Westward Ho!

PlanningSphere are advising the owners of Hassocks Golf Club on a residential-led scheme that will enable the existing course to be re-modelled through the release of land for new housing and public open space.

Bohunt Park has been promoted as an urban extension to Liphook in Hampshire since 2005. PlanningSphere are continuing to promote the site through the development plan making process.

PlanningSphere are advising specialist coastal developers, Acorn Blue, on a residential-led redevelopment of the vacant former Lee Bay Hotel site in North Devon.

Undertaken in 2012, this project involved obtaining planning permission for a new office workshop/studio within the grounds of a Grade I-listed building.

PlanningSphere secured a resolution to grant planning permission at Wiltshire Council’s Strategic Planning Committee in February 2014.
