Project Description
PlanningSphere are advising the owners of Hassocks Golf Club on a residential-led scheme of redevelopment that will enable the existing loss-making 18-hole course to be remodelled as a 9-hole course with a replacement club house. The remodelling will be facilitated by the release of land for new housing and public open space.
In June 2017, Mid Sussex District Council granted planning permission following completion of a legal agreement. Following the proposed sale of the residential part of the site to Bellway Homes, PlanningSphere are now instructed to submit a full planning application for a new golf country club working with Mador Architects and Sightline Landscape.
